Due to the recent geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, including the ongoing escalation involving Iran, the United States, and other international parties, global energy markets have been experiencing significant volatility. As a result, fuel prices have increased worldwide.
Following these developments, the Egyptian government has officially announced a fuel price increase of approximately 3 EGP per liter, which has directly impacted many operational sectors, especially transportation and logistics services.
At Direction Center, we have always been committed to maintaining stable pricing and supporting our partners by absorbing operational cost increases whenever possible. However, the recent rise in fuel prices has significantly affected several aspects of our daily operations, including:
- Vehicle fuel consumption
- Transportation between governorates
- Maintenance and spare parts
- General logistics and operational costs
In order to maintain the quality and reliability of our services, Direction Center management has made the difficult decision to introduce a limited adjustment to some service fees.
Effective Date:
The new pricing will take effect starting March 20.
Price Adjustments
Shipping Fees:
An increase of 5 to 10 EGP per shipment, depending on the destination governorate.
Pickup Requests:
An increase of 10 to 15 EGP per pickup request.
Return Pickup Requests:
An increase of 15 to 20 EGP per return pickup request.
We would like to emphasize that this adjustment represents the minimum possible increase necessary to ensure that we can continue delivering the same level of service quality and operational efficiency that our partners expect.
This decision was not driven by a desire to increase prices, but rather by unavoidable economic factors resulting from rising fuel costs and global market conditions.
